Ramah Christian Classical School (RCCS) is based on a Christian Classical educational model which teaches students how to think, communicate and excel, while bringing Christian values to their changing world.
RCCS is a member of the Regent Schools of the Carolinas, a Christian private school system. Regents is a privately funded board of preeminent Christian educators and scholars dedicated to partnering with churches to form primary and secondary schools of excellence.
Opened in Fall 2010 with grades K-4, RCCS will add a grade each subsequent year until fully staffed for grades K-8.
Several components are used to identify families who share our passion for the Classical Christian pedagogy and students who will thrive in our educational model.
Christian Classical Education provides an academic environment in which it is possible to teach moral values, while developing intellectual capabilities second to none. Achieved through hard work and innovative education programming, our goals are to see our students:
In our schools, each child entrusted to our care is known, loved and challenged. In turn, your child will know and love God and learning.
The decision to transition from public to private school despite these economic times was simple and effortless once we met with the teachers and staff at RCCS. The atmosphere at RCCS is one of creativity and growth. It is where caring teachers in small classes are able to teach each child with their individual learning style in mind. The teachers have the children's best interests in mind and are not driven by test scores or a state-mandated curriculum. Our daughter looks forward to school everyday and is excelling in the Christian Classical Curriculum. RCCS fosters a proactive approach to building life-long learners by promoting encouragement rather than criticism.
