Ramah Christian Classical School (RCCS) is a new school based on a Christian Classical educational model which teaches students how to think, communicate and excel, while bringing Christian values to their changing world.
Initially, our first classes will be Kindergarten through Second Grades and we will expand to quickly become a full K-8 grade school.
RCCS is a member of the Regent Schools of the Carolinas, a Christian private school system. Regent is a privately funded board of pre-eminent Christian educators and scholars dedicated to partnering with churches to form primary and secondary schools of excellence in learning.
With classes starting in the Fall of 2010, the admissions process is in full swing and we encourage you to consider RCCS as you decide on the best education for your children. Please contact the Admissions Office for an application or more information.
RCCS education focuses on the whole child, for the development of a healthy body, a lively soul and a discerning mind. Founded on the premise that Christ is the source of all truth, RCCS is dedicated to sound learning, new discovery and the pursuit of wisdom.
Both the curriculum and approach to teaching and learning are summed up by St. Paul's words in Philippians 4:8-9:
"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things, those things which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do."
While emphasizing the proper balance between head and heart, mind and character, form and spirit, RCCS will endeavor to instill a lifelong hunger for intellectual development, where the students themselves will be affirmed as ambassadors of grace, citizens who live and teach an ethic of service and respect of others.
